Urgent 2010 timing issue (please read and respond)

All,
We had previously reserved the rec plex for the same weekend we had this last year (June 25-27, 2010). We were guaranteed this weekend.
However, we had previously inquired about potentially getting a later weekend and I have just learned that the group that had the rec plex August 13-15, 2010 has backed out of their commitment. Thus, we can get the August weekend if we want.
What are people's thoughts? I always liked August a little better than June but given the importance of this year please sound off with preferences/issues/support. It also gives us a little more prep time.

August would be better for me.
The wedding being that close to the June date was going to probaboy cause an issue.

The August week-end would be a no-go for me due to my work's quarterly reporting cycle. Then again, being a 9 hour drive away my chances while hopeful, were remote.
Go with what actually works best for the organizer - the more time / enthusiasm you have, the more likey the event will be a success.

As this date apparently works better for more people than it causes problems for, I have requested the change.
I will post a notification once the date change is confirmed.
I would much rather do it in August. It is better for me in every way plus it gives me more time to paint.
