I'm in Chicago. I'm working on getting a few others of us to come down too.
Awesome army. Very nice combination of Forge World and Ultraforge. Some of the models are difficult to get a close look at, even on the high-res picture.
I have a pretty big collection of daemons and I've found that they're tough to run in such large numbers. Deep Striking and all that assaulting is very time consuming. How have your experiences been?
Matt
Yea Chaos.
Now the Grey Knights have something to shoot at....
Very nice looking Chaos Army! Where is this grand event going to take place?

St.Louis. In an arena.
I am planning on coming too I am bringing elements of the 1st and 2nd companies of Imperial Fists to the big showdown where do I sign up? My email is galligun13@yahoo.com
You just signed RogalDorn. Any idea how many points you plan to bring?
By the way I was doing the math yesterday and I will be bringing 26000ish points of Guard, Crimson Fists and Titans.
I plan on being there with about 31,000 points of Space Wolves and some Eldar.

I don't think I'll be able to make it. My basement started caving in and foundation repairs came in at $30k. I don't think I can afford this trip, unfortunately. Sorry :(
Ouch.
We'll miss you, but I understand that real life can definitely be more pressing (pardon the pun)
This is Mark Wolf from Springfield MO. I am going to be there on the 14th, and I am bringing about 30,000 points worth of Orks, Tau, Kroot, and Eldar.
I am also bringing Frank Grand who has a similar amount of orks and space marines.
I will also bring Evan Castello with probably another 4-5 thousand points of eldar
Along with Bryan williams, and Alex who also have space marines.
I have a few Questions aswell.
1) how are we doing deployment (are we deploying the day before, or when we get there)
2) How are we doing the turns? (attacker, defender)
3) how long are we doing each turn? 2 hours each? (12 hours total)
4) what are the rules on modified figs and are there kustom vehicle rules?
5) starting times, and will it spread into sunday?

Looking forward to seeing you all again.
1) Terrain setup will start the prior afternoon. If you have a massive army (over 10K points) you are encouraged to assist with the terrain setup and deploy your army the night before. We will be the last ones in the building on Friday, and organizers will be there when it opens on Saturday. It is locked, but I wouldn't leave anything obviously valuable (e.g. camera).
Part of the reason for the prior night setup is to allow for those with really large armies to use the room to take pictures of their armies before there are a lot of players.
2) There are two teams, all players on one team move shoot etc. at the same time. All turns and turn components are timed.
3) Exact time will be determined once everything is setup on Saturday morning. We will aim to get 4-6 turns in.
4) You may use "custom" rules so long as they are developed in the form of an Apocalypse datasheet. That is, either a unique vehicle or formation. These will need to be approved in advance and will be published on this site. Be REASONABLE. Proposed rulesheets may be submitted (posted) in the gallery section. The rules section of the StC forum discusses specifics of rules.
5) Game setup starts promptly at 9am Saturday, you should aim to be at the hall and completely unpacked (but not necessarily deployed) at that time. The building opens at 8am and organizers will be there when the building opens. Game will not go into Sunday, Sunday will be used to break down the terrain. Turn 1 will start no later than 10am, and hopefully by 9:30.
I'll be there with two of my friends. I'll have app. 12000 points of Imperial Fist/Salamanders.
One friend will have app. 1600 Blood Angels
and the other will have app. 2000 Blood Angels.
Hopefully we're not to late. =)
Not at all. See you there
Very nice.
I've seen your models on Dakka. It's a great looking army.
Where are you located?
